Renee Skiles, MFC #50472
Mariage and Family Therapy

We all strive to find balance, to be happy and successful in our relationships. But at times the struggles of everyday life leave us worried, depressed, lacking in confidence, and questioning the next step. Therapy is a chance to gain a new perspective and an opportunity to overcome old patterns that just don’t work anymore. Renee offers sessions available for individuals, couples, families, and groups, in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Renee customizes sessions by using cognitive behavioral therapies and psychodynamic-attachment based theories. She is patient, gentle and personable, and yet knows how to help you get off the couch! She has experience treating:

Depression & Anxiety
Adults from dysfunctional families
Couples facing infidelity
Transitions into marriage/career
Burnout prevention of helping professions,
    including ministry leaders
Managing major mental disorders

Before becoming a marriage and family therapist, Renee spent 9 years serving in urban ministry in Washington DC and downtown Los Angeles. She has clinical experience working in elementary schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and has worked in private practice since 2007.
